Magrathea is our puppy and our inspiration, but she is better known around our home as "Maggie" (and occasionally "Mags"). Magrathea was adopted from the SPCA in Tonawanda, NY on September 11, 2008, and was around 10 months old at the time.

When we first met Maggie she was shy, quiet, but very friendly. The staff at the SPCA informed us that she came to the shelter with her brother who had recently been adopted; they said that Maggie hadn't been herself since her brother left. Next thing we knew Maggie was sitting in the backseat of our car and the rest of the car was packed full of essentials to get us through the first night.

We are forever grateful to the SPCA for taking care of our Maggie until we were able to find her. She has made us very proud and happy parents.
